“English Talk King” is an online English listening and speaking salon organized by the Australian Chinese Culture and Exhibition Hall during the pandemic. It aims to help Chinese teenagers learn English culture and practice English speaking. We started the first session of English Talk King on November 29, 2020. It was going ahead to the sixth level in which level consists of ten sessions. Each session lasts for three hours.

The main speaker, Mr. Dominic Fede, has a deep passion for Chinese culture and is dedicated to helping English enthusiasts from all over the world learn native English expressions and understand English language and culture. Mr. Dominic Fede works as an IT technician  in his regular job and is also a private detective and community public speaker. He actively participates in community volunteer services and has helped countless people.

Over the past two years, we have witnessed tremendous changes in many children in China, from being timid to becoming sunny and outgoing, from lacking confidence in speaking English to speaking fluently. Our vision is to broaden children’s horizons, expand their thinking, and break through the limitations of English learning cognition through language and cultural exchange and sharing, leaving them with sunny memories and experiences on their path of growth!

Language is a tool. By mastering the skills and utilizing the strengths of this tool, we believe that English Talk King will add a dynamic foundation to the personal growth journey of our participants!

《英语开心说English Talk King 》是澳大利亚中国文化展览馆在疫情期间组织的公益英语听说线上沙龙，帮助中国青少年学习英语文化，练习英语口语。2020年11月29日我们开始了English Talk King第一讲，每一星阶共十讲，每讲用时3小时。截止2023年5月，我们已顺利完成到第六星阶第六讲。

主讲老师Mr.Dominic Fede 热爱中国文化，致力于帮助各国英语爱好者学习本土英语表达和了解英语语言文化。DOM老师本职工作是IT 工程师，同时也是私人侦探和社区公共演讲者，常年参加社区志愿者服务工作，帮助了不计其数的人。

两年多以来，我们见证了很多孩子发生的巨大变化，从原来的胆怯变得阳光开朗，从说英语不自信到侃侃而谈。我们的愿景是通过语言文化的交流和分享打开孩子们的视野，拓宽孩子们的思维，突破英语学习认知的局限，在成长的道路上留下一段阳光的记忆和经历！ 

语言皆是工具，掌握工具的技能，善用工具的长处，相信English Talk King将会给我们的人生成长道路增添一块灵动的基石！
